What Is a Dry Herb Vaporizer?

Published

on

In simple terms, a dry herb vaporizer is a little oven, which will heat your herb to a precise temperature through either convection or conduction; or both. Dry herb vaporizers come in many shapes and sizes, however they can be put into two categories, portable or desktop.

There are many great brands and styles of dry herb vaporizers such as: Dynavap, Mighty, Mighty plus vape, Crafty Plus, Arizer Solo 2, Pax 3, Volcanos, and many many more..

Dry herb vaporizers work by heating the herb to a precise temperature.  Once the desired temperature is reached, the THC oil in the herbs is transformed into a pure vapour to be inhaled.

As there is zero combustion when using a weed bape, the user is not inhaling all the nasty, cancer causing carcinogens produced and inhaled when smoking.

Dry herb Vaporizers typically use conduction, convection, or a combination of both to heat the herbs.

Conduction heating is the most common method and is when the herb comes into direct contact with the heating element.

In Convection heating, the herb does not come into direct contact with the element, but instead, hot air is passed through the herbs, releasing the transformed oil into a potent vapour, and then cooled down through the mouthpiece before being inhaled.

When deciding which vaporizer to buy, it is important that you look at all the pros and cons associated with both the types of heating. Also another important thing to consider is the type of herb grinder, or weed grinder that you will be using.
