3 Massachusetts men indicted for armed robbery of cash courier transporting $430,000 for marijuana companies

Three Bay State men have been federally indicted for the alleged armed robbery of a cash courier who was transporting more than $430,000 for marijuana companies.

The men — Steven Madison, 38, of Bridgewater; Christopher White, 37, of Raynham; and Quentin McDonald, 25, of Brockton — are accused of robbing the courier at gunpoint in Swansea earlier this year.

They allegedly zip-tied and pepper sprayed the courier, and then burned the stolen getaway vehicle.

Ex-Massachusetts lawyer accused of trying to bribe Medford police chief for pot shop sentenced to prison

A former lawyer who was accused of trying to bribe the Medford police chief to get city approval for a pot shop has been sentenced to prison.

Somerville man Sean O’Donovan, 56, was sentenced on Wednesday to two years in prison, followed by three years of supervised release.

O’Donovan was also ordered to pay a $150,000 fine.

A Brookline teen was severely injured after he had “magic mushrooms” and jumped from a sixth-story window, according to police who arrested a drug dealer accused of targeting local kids.

Brookline Police are now warning parents after this incident and the arrest of a 22-year-old man in Brookline Village.

Based on a tip, Brookline detectives began investigating a suspected drug dealer who goes by the name Niko. He was allegedly selling drugs to underage teens.

14-year-old boy accused of stealing 30 marijuana products from South Boston pot shop, smashing the front door

A 14-year-old boy is accused of stealing more than $1,500 in marijuana products from a South Boston pot shop early Monday after he allegedly smashed the store’s front door with a large rock, police said.

The juvenile was arrested by Boston Police officers and has been charged in connection with the alleged breaking and entering incident at deVINE Wellness, a Southie dispensary.

Officers arrested the 14-year-old boy at about 1:54 a.m., after they responded to the area of 619 E. Broadway St. for a commercial alarm. Officers have responded to similar radio calls at this address, according to the incident’s police report.
