Strong notes of citrus, berries, and pine combine to create an enticing aroma and flavor profile.

Average CBD Level: <1%
Strain Type: Sativa
Genetics: Granddaddy Purple (GDP) x Bay Platinum Cookies
Candyland is a combination of Granddaddy Purple (GDP) and Bay Platinum Cookies. Ken Estes, the creator of the legendary GDP, was looking for a less sedating strain compared to GDP.
Estes chose a Cookies strain due to its mold resistance and low-maintenance in the grow room. Estes crossed a male GDP plant with a female phenotype of Bay Platinum Cookies.
From this cross, Candyland grew tall and branchy. Estes loved its traits and smell. He offhandedly came up with the name “Candyland” as a placeholder. Little did he know that the name would stick after it developed a loyal following across the nation.
GDP (Purple Urkle x Big Bud) and Bay Platinum Cookies (Bay 11 x Platinum Cookies) bring the potency and fruity flavors you know and love.
Candyland Flavor
Candyland’s unique genetics are responsible for its sweet and candy-like flavors. A sugary and tart taste blends with hints of fruit, berries, and citrus flavors.
Notes of earthy, herbal, and piney flavors hit your taste buds on the inhale. The complex combination of flavors creates a balanced sweet and earthy profile.
Aroma
One whiff of Candyland buds and you’ll think you’ve transported into a magical board game where the swamp is made of molasses and the trees are made of lollipops. It has a strong and sweet aroma.
Its sweetness is balanced with a pine, herbal, and earthy scent. Each element of the pungent smell combines to create a pleasant atmosphere when smoking or vaping.
