Bloomz Hemp is a leading online retailer of THCA flower. And if you haven’t heard, THCA flower is just regular (high-quality of course) weed that you can get from a dispensary in a legal state. But with Bloomz, you can get it delivered straight to your door regardless of where you live.
THCA Flower
In short, THCA flower is just regular marijuana flower that you would find from any dealer or dispensary, but sold under a fun loophole that was just recently discovered. To understand the loophole, you will need to better understand exactly what THCA is and how it comes into play with other cannabinoids. So let’s take a step back and explore this more in depth.
When it comes to cannabis products, most people are familiar with the primary compounds, THC in marijuana and CBD in hemp; legally distinguishable by a cutoff of 0.3 percent THC (if it has less, it’s hemp, it if has more, it’s marijuana.) This has been problematic for companies trying to sell flower to consumers, as they have to either open a legal dispensary, and that’s not possible everywhere yet, or sell hemp flower infused with alternative cannabinoids like delta 8, delta 10, THC-O, and so forth. The latter option turned out to be a short-lived fad for the most part, minus one minor compound that is much different from all the rest: THCA.
THCA, or tetrahydrocannabinolic acid, is the precursor compound to THC (tetrahydrocannabinol), and it’s only found in raw cannabis plants. On its own, THCA is very minimally psychoactive, but when heat is applied to the buds via smoking, vaping, or cooking, the THCA loses its carboxyl acid group (the A, at the end there), and becomes THC (delta 9 tetrahydrocannabinol). This process is known as decarboxylation, or decarbing.
This is why, if you’ve ever paid close attention to the labels on your cannabis flower, or even live resin carts and concentrates purchased from a legal dispensary, you will notice that many have THCA content listed, rather than just THC or including Delta 9 as the primary cannabinoid. So, it will say something like “26.10% THCA, 0.05% CBD, 0.27% Delta-9 THC”. As you can see, D9 is basically listed as a minor compound here, because in raw plants, there are only trace amounts of Delta 9. It’s all THCA before decarbing.

Kush Cake
Out of the four strains I had the pleasure of trying, Kush Cake was my favorite. Both the smell and flavor were amazing, although it tasted a bit different than I expected. The aroma of the buds was earthy and skunky but when smoked it had a sweet flavor with hints of lemon and vanilla. It broke down nicely, not too wet or too dry, and rolled well in both blunts and joints. And most importantly, the high was very uplifting and enjoyable. This strain is part of their Gold Line batch, with over 25 percent THCA. It’s a full blown indica, so expect typical indica effects like relaxation, munchies, and a nice body high.
Froyo
Next in line was Froyo, a beautiful frosty sativa with a creamy and tart flavor that delivered the kind of high one would expect from a true sativa strain. Froyo, which comes from a genetic cross between MacMints and Sunset Sherbert, is also part of Bloomz Hemp’s Gold Line of THCA flower strains, so it also contains over 25 percent tetrahydrocannabinolic acid. The nugs are vibrant green with spots of purple, which was refreshing as I rarely see purple strains for a decent price these days. If you’re a sativa fan, this is a great strain to try.
Guava Cookies
Now moving on to my favorite strain from their standard line, Guava Cookies. In appearance, the nugs looked quite similar to their other strain from this category that I tried (mentioned below), but they were a bit fluffier and more bulbous. The flower was light green with a lot of trichomes and little orange hairs. The dominant terpene in these buds is pinene, so the flavor is earthy and piney with some sweet notes. This sativa boasts roughly 20 percent THCA, so it’s still nice and potent for a budget strain. It also had a great flavor – light, fresh, and sweet.
Pineapple OG
While also a great strain, Pineapple OG came in last for me. Pineapple OG is thought to be a cross between Pineapple Express and an unknown OG Kush hybrid. The flavor was good, sort of a sweet-spicy pineapple flavor and hints of citrus and pine, and the effects were nice, but unfortunately the buds were very dry. Luckily, that’s nothing that a couple hours in a jar with a tortilla or citrus peel won’t fix. Like the former, this is a sativa from their standard line with somewhere around 20 percent THCA, so it’s a great value for the price.

About Bloomz Hemp
Bloomzis the sister company to Binoid, one of the largest and most trusted online alternative cannabinoid brands with over 300,000 happy customers and 50,000 five star reviews since launching in 2018. Whereas Binoid focuses on infused products like vapes and gummies, Bloomz sells only flower. The company does both B2C and B2B, and they have great wholesale deals for companies looking to boost their inventories with popular, recognizable, brand-name products.
They work with local Hemp farmers in Oregon and Colorado to grow their unique phytocannabinoid-rich hemp plants with the best plant genetics, high cannabinoid concentrations, and beneficial terpenes. They chose Oregon and Colorado because they are the prime location to grow due to their ideal weather, nutrient rich soil, and local farming knowledge.
Bloomz has a few different types of hemp flower available – Delta 8 THC, HHC, THC-P, and their most popular variety, THCA flower. They have many different THCA flower strains in their standard line including Gelato Punch, Grape Jelly Donut, Guava Cookies, and more. They also have a “gold line” which includes additional, more top-shelf strains like Froyo, Gobstoppers, Kush Cake, and others. And if you feel like going for convenience, you can buy preroll packs as well.
