The
University of Connecticutdeveloped the first US university class on cannabis horticulture. There is a fundamental course and an advanced course. Students not seeking a degree are welcome. The program sits within the College of Agriculture, Health and Natural Resources (CAHNR) which also hosts a
cannabis research unit focused on cannabis production analysis and improvement as well as just increased knowledge about the plant.
