History was made in Washington DC when the DEA accepted the HHS recommendation to move cannabis to schedule 3 of the Controlled Substances Act. For the first time, a federal agency has enough evidence of the medicinal capabilities of the cannabis plant to get it away from Heroin and put it in the same schedule as anabolic steroids & Codeine Tylenol. Its not official until the White House Budget review and a public comment period. Industry reaction is mixed, consumer reaction is what took so long?

Success Center is a community-based organization that was founded 35 years ago by Superior Court Judges in San Francisco to provide education and employment opportunities to youth in juvenile detention facilities. The program has recently expanded to include Equity for Industry training and workshops for those interested in the cannabis industry.
